Building
It is well known that stainless steel is used for its corrosion resistance, hygiene qualities and for its aptitude to remain unaltered with time.
Its applications are in fact also linked to the building sector due to its resistance to corrosion.
Applications where the aspect of corrosion resistance takes priority over the qualities of mechanical strength, although sometimes it is in interest of architects to take advantage of its structural qualities as a building material with the advantage of rust resistance.
Some typical examples of use are: the rebars for reinforced concrete, anchor bolts for facades, precise fastening systems for structural glazing, freestanding chimney flutes, the elements for restoration works, linkages, subterranean strengthening operations etc.
