Stainless steels
Martensitic stainless steels are alloys with chromium content above 10%. The addition of other elements such as Molybdenum, Vanadium and Nickel improves corrosion resistance and structural stability. They are produced with a special melting process designed to achieve structures with high micro cleanliness and provide excellent results for lapping and polishing blades. The specific analysis allows good formability in the annealed condition and high hardness after quenching and tempering of the knives.
